Students of all ages and races took to the podium Saturday with impassioned appeals to elected officials to act on the issue of gun control, and for the wider citizenry to assert their power at the ballot box this 13 year-old Asiane Phillips joins us in Studio A, this afternoon. She’s a 7th grader at Baltimore’s Hampstead Hill Academy. She is a student activist and organizer, who organized a walkout at her school in response to gun violence.
